Who voted against the immigration bill

From Rush:

“there were four Democrats that voted against the immigration bill, and three of them are up for reelection. I think it was Ben Nelson, Debbie Stabenow, and “Sheets” Byrd voted against it, and they’re all up for reelection. A number of Republicans voted against this, and they are up for reelection. So the Senate came up with enough cover to allow those up for reelection to vote against it. They had enough support for the bill to allow those who are up for reelection to vote against it, so they go back and not face the wrath of their voters. The people that voted for it are not up this year, and they will be up in the next two or four years, or five, depending on who they are. But they have protection. By that time it is thought that you will have forgotten all about this, and that’s the way these things work.”

“and that’s the way these things work.”

And unfortunately, that’s the sad truth of it, with few exceptions. It’s probably time to throw the bums out and start all over, but that’s not going to happen. :(

You know Trinity, we simply need to be in their faces, writing them and contacting them at every turn.
What these people are trying to do to this country is deplorable and they should be called out. Its up to conservative writers and bloggers to turn up the heat on these people.
