Liberals are so rude and tacky
More evidence on just how stupid and tacky liberals for the most part are.
I’m not even a McCain fan but damm, can’t you fucken liberal wackos act like civilized human beings in a public forum? This kind of shit is so petty, but typical of liberal behavior.
Graduates at New School Heckle Speech by McCain
The jeers, boos and insults flew, as caustic as any that angry New Yorkers have hurled inside Madison Square Garden. The objects of derision yesterday, however, were not the hapless New York Knicks, but Senator John McCain, the keynote speaker at the New School graduation, and his host, Bob Kerrey, the university president.
No sooner had Mr. Kerrey welcomed the audience to the university’s 70th commencement than the hoots began to rise through the Theater at Madison Square Garden. Several graduates held up a banner aimed at Mr. McCain, an Arizona Republican and likely 2008 presidential candidate, declaring: “Our commencement is not your platform.” Other students and faculty members waved orange fliers with the same message.
Mr. Kerrey, a former Democratic senator from Nebraska, was unapologetic yesterday about inviting Mr. McCain, his friend and fellow Vietnam War veteran, to speak. He noted early in his welcoming remarks that there had been intense media coverage of Mr. McCain’s graduation speech last week at Liberty University, headed by the Rev. Jerry Falwell, in which Mr. McCain strongly defended the Iraq war.

I agree. I’m all for free speech, but I think when someone is an invited guest speaker, they should be permitted to deliver their speech sans heckling. By trying to drown McCain out with boos and yelling, and fluster him with
rude and insulting signs and banners, etc., these students make themselves look like a bunch of uneducated, intolerant, boorish and immature jerks. It’s rude and unfair to the guest, John McCain, the host,
Bob Kerrey, and also to any of the graduates who may be interested in hearing what the speaker has to say. I think it’s really selfish and disrespectful of these students.
On the other hand, perhaps Kerrey made a mistake in not offering the student body more input with regard to who the guest speaker should be. I’m not sure how those decisions are made. Is it always a unilateral decision made by the president of the university? I didn’t think that was the case.

I still think this is tacky and rude. I not a fan of hardly any Democrat, however if one came to our University to speak I would at least respect them and their position enough to let them speak.
Only liberals pull this bullshit. Liberals believe that anybody who is right leaning should not be heard and be kept quiet.
I have said a million times, I want liberals to be heard, I want them to have as many opportunities to share their ideas because in the end they will drown in their own words.
Those students at that university are a fucken joke. Any fool who would pay for a college education and still come out a closed minded idiot bastard means their degree is not worth one damm dime.

Is that you, Sniffer? Why don’t you come out and tell people how you REALLY feel? lol
I totally agree with you that it’s liberals who are most guilty of this sort of bad behavior. Look what they do to conservatives like Ann Coulter, Bill Kristol and David Horowitz for heaven’s sake. They threw pies at them. lol For some reason, they only threw salad dressing at Pat Buchanan. Here’s the link for Ann’s piece on the pie-throwing. I love her last line, referring to libs.
“They’re still stuck at the intellectual level of 2-year-olds in high chairs throwing
food.”
