George Pataki: Illegal Immig Boycott ‘Terrible’

Sunday, April 30th, 2006

New York Gov. George Pataki is blasting a nationwide boycott by illegal aliens planned for Monday, calling it a “terrible” idea.
“I think it’s just terrible,” Pataki told WABC Radio host Larry Kudlow on Saturday. “You don’t take a demonstration to the streets for a political cause that’s going to threaten our schools and close down businesses.”
The New York Republican suggested that if illegal immigrants participate in a work boycott, they might be fired.
“They have to show up for work if they want to continue to have a job,” he said. “There are far better ways to gain the support of the American people than shutting down businesses and looking to disrupt entire communities.”
On the larger question of immigration reform, Pataki said that border enforcement should be the priority.
“First of all, clearly the most important thing is that we have to control our borders,” he told WABC. “When the first act of tens of thousands of people coming to this country is to break the law, it just sends the wrong message” to grant illegals amnesty.
The New York governor, whose state has the fourth largest population of illegals, said national security is another top concern, explaining:
“You can never be secure if there are thousands of people crossing the border and you don’t know who they are, why they’re coming here, how long they’re going to be here or where they’re going to go.”

L.A. mayor picks NFL talks over immigrant boycott

 By Aarthi Sivaraman

LOS ANGELES (Reuters) - Antonio Villaraigosa, Los Angeles’ first Latino mayor in the modern era, will skip huge pro-immigration rallies planned for Monday to meet with pro football officials in Dallas, leaving organizers feeling like “a ship without a captain.”
Oscar Sanchez, an organizer of the Great American Boycott in Los Angeles, said the mayor’s office previously told the group he would speak at a downtown Los Angeles rally on Monday — then backed out.
Instead, the mayor will be in Dallas speaking with National Football League officials about the possibility of bringing a team back to Los Angeles.
Activists said the rallies, which could become the largest protests since the civil rights era of the 1960s, would shut down major U.S. cities and serve as an indicator of their economic power, with or without the mayor.
They have predicted that 2 million to 3 million people would flood the streets of Los Angeles alone.
“It has been advertised everywhere and he is the mayor of the second-biggest city of the country where a boycott is going to happen. It would feel like a ship without a captain,” Sanchez said.
A spokesman for Villaraigosa said the mayor had never promised to be present at Monday’s immigration rallies — part of a nationwide boycott and demonstration — and that his Dallas trip had been in the works for a long time.
Villaraigosa, the son of a Mexican immigrant, has long championed immigrant rights. But he has urged restraint in the May Day event, asking protesters to be “lawful and respectful” and children to stay in school.

Court upholds Giuliani firings over racist New York parade float

Friday, April 28th, 2006

By DAVID B. CARUSO
Associated Press Writer

NEW YORK (AP) — The city was within its rights to fire a police officer and two firefighters who rode a parade float featuring mocking stereotypes of blacks, a federal appeals panel said Thursday.

The ruling by the 2nd U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals overturned a lower-court’s decision that the men were engaging in free speech and shouldn’t have been let go.

“The First Amendment does not require a government employer to sit idly by while its employees insult those they are hired to serve and protect,” 2nd Circuit Judge Guido Calabresi wrote in the panel’s opinion.

‘Star-Spangled Banner’ in Spanish Draws Criticism

Friday, April 28th, 2006

MIAMI (April 28) - British music producer Adam Kidron says that when he came up with the idea of a Spanish-language version of the U.S. national anthem, he saw it as an ode to the millions of immigrants seeking a better life.
But in the week since Kidron announced the song - which features artists such as Wyclef Jean, hip-hop star Pitbull and Puerto Rican singers Carlos Ponce and Olga Tanon - it has been the target of a fierce backlash.
Some Internet bloggers and others are infuriated by the thought of “The Star-Spangled Banner” sung in a language other than English.
“Would the French accept people singing the La Marseillaise in English as a sign of French patriotism? Of course not,” said Mark Krikorian, head of the Washington-based Center for Immigration Studies, a think tank that supports tighter immigration controls.

“True Warriors Wear Scars”
Congresswoman McKinney Fights Good Fight for Black America - WTF!?

“McKinney is being punished and marked for her remarks, protests and strong voice, but despite the attacks and negative publicity and attempts to scandalize her name courtesy of the White news media, she does not plan to stop being outspoken on issues and working for the people.  She refuses to bow to the powers that would like to silence her and puppetize her.”

Below is a story on the African American News site out of Texas.   Now I constantly bash this idiot McKinney because she is an embarrassment to black politicians everywhere.
But I post this story to show how many black folks get duped into supporting and continually voting for intellectually challenged individuals to represent them. This article seeks to make a champion out of McKinney who is frankly one of the stupidest politicians in Washington.  From her bad hair, to her boorish ghetto ass behavior, she is the poster child on why black politicians particularly “Democratic” black politicians are not taken seriously. This has nothing to do with the “white media” dissing her.

That “ghetto” mentality may be just the thing to keep her in office, because it appears that her constituents are not bright enough to see that she is a fool.

“Oh that sista is one of us.” Black folks better wake up or we are screwed.

Audit Suggests Hiring More Black, Hispanic Faculty

KANSAS CITY, Mo. — The University of Missouri-Kansas City has a serious problem with
its racial climate and a serious lack of diversity in its faculty, according to an audit commissioned by the school.  The audit, conducted by an assistant professor at Pennsylvania State University, also said the most racist place on campus was in campus classrooms; black and Hispanic students felt isolated on campus, and noted a graduation gap between men and women in those groups. Black and Hispanic students told auditors they often felt offended by faculty’s seemingly low expectations of them.

NOTE: This could be any of the area universities (Kansas and Missouri). You can search virtually all day and not see a black face period at KU (Lawrence). But UMKC is no different that any other university. That goes for faculty, support staff, maintenance ect. I bet at KU with a student population of 27,000 and a staff population of over 5,000 there are less than 100 black faculty and support staff all together.University environments are suppose to be more liberal and “open” but that is a bunch of bullshit.

Conservative values versus liberal values

Thursday, April 27th, 2006

sparker.gifby Star Parker

With all the ink these days about “values” and so-called “values voters,” it might be worthwhile to take a moment and consider what exactly these values are that we’re talking about.
After all, as liberal and Democratic strategists try to refashion their message with an eye to recapturing Congress and the White House, they claim that conservatives have no monopoly on values. They too have “values.”
And, of course, liberals do indeed have values.
However, we need to be clear about the difference between what conservatives and liberals mean by the term “values.”
Moreover, understanding this distinction sheds light on why the profound social problems in inner-city black populations go beyond just being a black problem, but reflect a national moral crisis.

State may start counting its mixed-race residents

Thursday, April 27th, 2006

 alicia_keys_1.jpg

MY QUESTION IS, WHY?

By Steven Harmon
TIMES SACRAMENTO BUREAU
SACRAMENTO - California is poised to become the first state in the nation to allow people of mixed ethnicity to officially identify with more than one race.

A state Senate committee on Tuesday approved a bill by Sen. Joe Simitian, D-Palo Alto, that would allow people to choose more than one race when filling out official state government forms. It would also require the state to record and report the number of those who identify with multiple ethnic or racial backgrounds.

The federal government began giving people of mixed race that option in 1997 — about one in six Californians identified that way in the 2000 Census — but no state has since followed through in its own data collection.

Ladies and gentlemen, start your engines.

Gas prices have gone above $3 a gallon again, and that means it’s time for another round of congressional finger-pointing.

“Since George Bush and Dick Cheney took over as president and vice president, gas prices have doubled!” charged Sen. Barbara Boxer (D-Calif.), standing at an Exxon station on Capitol Hill where regular unleaded hit $3.10. “They are too cozy with the oil industry.”

She then hopped in a waiting Chrysler LHS (18 mpg) — even though her Senate office was only a block away.

How can the environmental wacko types bitch and moan about folks driving big SUV’s when there are millions of people driving around in old, big, nasty ass cars with muffler falling off, rusted, balding tires. These cars are equally as bad on fuel consumption and in many ways worse that todays modern SUV’s. Just a thought….

    Minimum wage, maximum folly

    Wednesday, April 26th, 2006

    wwilliams.gifby Walter E. Williams

Email to a friend Print this page Text size: A A About a fortnight ago, Mrs. Williams alerted me to an episode of Oprah Winfrey’s show titled “Inside the Lives of People Living on Minimum Wage.” After a few minutes of watching, I turned it off, not because of the heartrending tales but because most of what was being said was dead wrong. Let’s look at it.
The show claims that 30 million Americans earn the minimum wage of $5 an hour. Actually, the federal minimum wage is $5.15 an hour, and 17 states mandate a higher minimum wage that approaches $7 an hour. At one point, Oprah did manage to clear up this aspect of the show’s errors.

The U.S. Department of Labor reports: “According to Current Population Survey estimates for 2004, some 73.9 million American workers were paid at hourly rates, representing 59.8 percent of all wage and salary workers. Of those paid by the hour, 520,000 were reported as earning exactly $5.15.”

    Law or lynch law?

    Tuesday, April 25th, 2006

    sowell.gifThomas Sowell

People who were not within 1,000 miles of Duke University have already taken sides in the case of a stripper who has accused Duke lacrosse players of rape. One TV talk show hostess went ballistic when a guest on her program raised questions about the stripper’s version of what happened.

Apparently we dare not question accusations of rape when it involves the new sacred trinity of race, class, and gender.

Media irresponsibility is one thing. Irresponsibility by an agent of the law is something else — and much more dangerous. Prosecutors are not just supposed to prosecute. They are supposed to prosecute the right people in the right way. In this case, prosecutor Michael Nifong has proceeded in the wrong way.

Black Activists Joining Minutemen Against Illegal Immigration

    Tuesday, April 25th, 2006

    mex.jpg

It seems the black community is starting to wake up to the truth about illegal immigration and it’s impact on them. While illegal aliens have continued to drive down wages and hurt those in this country whose livelihood depends on manual labor, the activists in the black community have actually supported them — if you can believe that.

Just recently it was discovered that at one single placement agency alone, over 70 construction workers — who were predominantly black — in the Katrina recovery region were replaced by illegal aliens. This is one agency. Multiply that by all the agencies in the region and you’ll see what a travesty is being placed on the black community by illegal immigration. These are Americans who want to work, not people looking for a handout.

    The Cracka Update

    Tuesday, April 25th, 2006

Ah I have to resurrect something I did on my old blog the “Cracka Update”

I may be one of the few people that find racist rants amusing. I find it amusing because most of society wants to sweep the stench of racism and racists behavior under the rug. Now most of what I find may be a bit extreme but I would bet anybody that there are more white people who think like these crazy bastards than not. The bigger problem is they are more silent about it.Generations of racists hate filled rhetoric have been passed down and these people are now the CEO’s, business owners, managers, teachers and political leaders of today.  We need to expose these ignorant pricks and force these racists redneck scum out from behind their confederate flags.  ————

    dc.jpg

Would this country had survived without blacks?

A better question to ask is if black people could have survived without America. The only reason black people in America have had success is the fact that they were born into a country built by whites. Without us bringing you all over here you would still be living in your huts in Africa. The AIDS epidemic might have wiped out your race in Africa had it not been for whites, years ago and today, providing massive humanitarian aide. I would suggest pondering that for a while. I agree with that on so many levels. This continent would have been much better off without the blacks.
The worst part about slavery was that it brought them here.
    ———–
Without blacks the prison industry would not be nearly as big as it is today. Other than that blacks are useless.
    ———-
Not only would this country have survived, it would have flourished and without a doubt stood out among nations as one of the best ever. Without the stain of negro slavery to divide our race, we would have been united instead of killing each other over the right to enslave low IQ negroes that did comparitively little except harvest crops. Free White labor would have been the way to go back then. Also, this nation would not have had to endure the snivel rights era and have our race divided even more. Now look at this country. We are letting nonwhites in by the millions, paying them next to nothing to do the work that Whites should be doing for a decent wage. One day there will be a reckoning and those responsible for the White race’s suffering will pay dearly. Those responsible include ZOG; international corporations and the elite White corporation owners that would fire their own mothers to save a dollar and make their stock go up a tenth of a point; nonwhites who have been used to displace the White man and are happy to do it; the jewsmedia; and anyone else that opposes the White race’s natural right to living space, survival and life.
    ————

To the afrocentrists who like to post these alleged negro inventions
If blacks are so smart then why do they consistently score 200 points
below whites on SAT tests and 15 points lower on IQ tests? Why do
blacks need affirmative action when asians and whites don’t?
    ————-
White American arent allowed to be proud of theirs thanks to the jew. Whites are given a steady diet of white guilt from kindergarden to the day they die that they are the cause of all the worlds ills. Some of us have grown tired of this crap and are willing to fight for their chance to be proud of who they are but we have a long way to go before we are all free of this sickening diet.

Seriously people, my imagination is not good enough to make that crazy racists shit up.

Dillard’s says ‘ethnic’ hair harder to clean in response to discrimination suit

    Tuesday, April 25th, 2006

    ap.jpg

    By Emanuella Grinberg
    Court TV
Almost three years after Vaughan Thomas says she paid an inflated price at a Montgomery, Ala., hair salon simply for being black, lawyers for Dillard’s beauty salons went to court Tuesday to defend the department store from allegations of what Thomas and others call “race-based pricing.”

Thomas is one of eight black women suing the department store for racial discrimination after she allegedly was told that Dillard’s beauty salons charge black customers more than whites because of the “kinky” nature of “ethnic” hair.

“Hair is hair regardless of what color you are, and the prices should be the same for everybody,” Thomas told Courttv.com. “This is a practice that’s still being done in the 21st century, and it should be stopped.”

While lawyers for Dillard’s deny that the retailer practices “race-based pricing,” they claim that scientific evidence supports the theory that “ethnic” hair requires more effort to treat — and therefore should be subject to higher pricing.

    Recycled Rant #2242 MLK Blvd

    Tuesday, April 25th, 2006

Now this topic is something I know some of you white people may have pondered at one time or another. Why are there so many streets named after the great Civil Rights Leader Martin Luther King Jr?
BUT the more important question is, why are these streets, named after such an icon in this countries history, tend to be the most fucked up streets in Anytown, USA?
As we are close to celebrating King’s birthday, more than 650 streets in the United States bear the civil rights leader’s name. No other American enjoys such a distinction.
Soon after King was assassinated on April 4, 1968, in Memphis, Blacks began a campaign to get a holiday named in his honor and to get streets and buildings named for him.
In fact, a school in Arequipa, Peru, has been named for the Nobel Peace Prize winner, and so has a library in Lusaka, Zambia. City governments and other organizations are still considering ways to memorialize King by using his name.
However, few address the ugly side of the King-name phenomenon and is generally ignored.

Chris Rock tells a joke that goes something like this: When a white friend told Chris Rock that he was on a street called Martin Luther King and asked what he should do, Chris Rock answered, “Run!” At another time and on a more serious note, Rock said: “I don’t care where you live in America, if you’re on Martin Luther King Boulevard, there’s some violence going on.”

Trust me folks, particularly you white people out there. I am not aware of any such MLK Boulevard where I would be comfortable walking at night, hell DURING THE DAY!
But in the zeal to honor King, folks forget to ask a few fundamental question. Does most of the streets, boulevards and avenues named for King actually disgrace his great legacy?
I am from Oakland California. I remember reading some time ago about the street that was San Pablo Boulevard was being renamed MLK.
The street I remember was the center of prostitution, drugs, gang violence. I would be willing to bet that it is still a corridor of broad dilapidation, abandoned structures, vacant lots with junked vehicles and trash and debris, black-on-black beat downs, public drinking, ect. And yes even worse, perhaps, most of the viable businesses on this stretch of MLK are owned by people other than blacks a glaring testament to black powerlessness.
The reasons for this state of affairs are many and complex. From the beginning, streets named for King (at least significant segments of them) were in poor black neighborhoods. From the beginning, these streets were themselves symbols of segregation and decay. From the beginning, streets named for King were a “black thing.” Black folks happily settled for streets in these places because this was all they were going to get from whites who were under fire from fellow whites to resist change.

Martin Luther King III, head of the Southern Christian Leadership Conference, the organization his father co-founded: uttered the following typical (anti-whitey rant)
“Most of the streets are still located in areas where they have been neglected. Their (white leaders’) intentions were honorable, but, unfortunately, what they didn’t do in most cases was to create the kind of street or area that would be an appropriate tribute.”
On the surface, King’s words are correct. But he fails to see the real source of the “neglect.” The fault does not lie with white people. It lies with black people.
Martin Luther King Jr. was born and reared on a clean, quiet, middle-class street in Atlanta, that he grew up with strict conservative values, values such as serving your community, protecting and respecting your neighbors, hard work, thrift, sobriety, cleanliness?
You won’t find that on any MLK Boulevard.
We should resolve to transform all King roadways into clean, well-lighted places that will attract businesses of all stripes, that will entice residents and tourists alike to spend time and money.
Simply naming a street after someone is not a tribute to King’s legacy. It is an outrage. It disgraces the memory of one of the greatest figures of the last century.
Neither is it symbolic of a transformation of racial solidarity in our society.
Remember James Byrd, Jasper, Texas, where you can find the MLK street that James Byrd was walking on in 1998 when he accepted a ride from a group of white men who murdered him and dragged his body three miles with a pick-up truck.
Many of these street tributes are phony attempts to appease ignorant black folks into thinking that all is well, whitey cares.
Here in Lawrence I wonder if changing our beloved main downtown Street, “Massachusetts” to Martin Luther King Street would go over with the liberals here?
Sounds like a letter to the editor. “To the Residents of Lawrence, its time we name some streets after black folks and not these damm states.”

    MTV ’s Christian-Bashing Draws Criticism

    Tuesday, April 25th, 2006

     ed11toon.jpg

A German conservative leader said Tuesday he has filed a complaint with prosecutors accusing music channel MTV of disparaging Christianity in an ad for its Vatican parody cartoon “Popetown,” which depicts the pope as a pogo-stick riding brat.
Joachim Herrmann, a senior official with the Christian Social Union party, said it was inappropriate for MTV to have run magazine ads such as one before Easter that depicted a smiling Christ sitting in an armchair in front of an empty cross, with the slogan “Laugh instead of hanging around.”
“Ten days before Easter, it was a particular provocation,” Herrmann said.
Michael Grunwald, a spokesman for Berlin prosecutors, said Herrmann’s complaint would be evaluated to determine whether there is enough evidence to proceed with an investigation against MTV.
An MTV spokesman was not immediately available for comment, but the station has previously it stands by its decision to air the program in Germany starting May 3, saying though it doesn’t appeal to everyone, it “neither disparages nor insults faiths.”
The British Broadcasting Corp. originally commissioned the program but decided in 2004 not to show it after protests from church leaders. It was screened last year in New Zealand, despite a church-led campaign against the broadcaster.
“Popetown” has also attracted controversy in Germany ahead of its airing, especially in the heavily Roman Catholic state of Bavaria, where Hermann’s party is dominant. The Bavaria-only CSU is part of Germany’s governing coalition.
The show features corrupt cardinals, a buxom nun and an infantile pope who bounces around the Vatican on a pogo stick.
By filing his complaint about the ad for the show, Herrmann indicated he wanted to “send a signal” that there would be a fight once the program hits the air.
Catholic bishops in Germany, the homeland of Pope Benedict XVI, have also joined the fray. They have said that they hope that MTV changes its mind about broadcasting the show and that “the religious feelings of Christians in our country will be respected.”

    Rep. McKinney Disparages Staffer On-Mike

    Tuesday, April 25th, 2006

I love seeing this idiot Negro fry herself!

    cm5.jpg
U.S. Representative Cynthia McKinney, D-Ga., who has been in the news since she scuffled with a Capitol Hill police officer last month, is in the news again after being heard bad-mouthing one of her staffers on tape.
The DeKalb County Democrat is running for re-election in the Fourth Congressional District. She was wearing a microphone during an interview with Georgia’s WGCL-TV, CBS 46 on Saturday when a reporter asked her about the fallout from the scuffle with the officer. The reporter asked if the controversy over the confrontation with the police officer has been a distraction for her.
McKinney told the reporter, “You’re a distraction because that seems to be all you want to talk about.”
She then got up and walked out of the interview, still wearing the mike. She is heard saying, “You know what? They lied to Coz and Coz is a fool.”
McKinney apparently realized her blunder and told the reporter that the comments about her communications director, Coz Carson, were off the record.
But the TV station aired the footage, and CNN later picked up the story. WGCL says it does not make “deals” with people being interviewed about what it can air.
McKinney, who is expected to qualify for her U.S. House race Monday, was not immediately available for comment.

Do you not comprehend that if his approval was at ZERO, that does not equate to your kind being put into office?

C’mon, some brave liberal out there can sell me on why Bush’s approval numbers matter.

People are shallow. I guarantee if gas prices were to drop drastically his approval numbers would go back up. WAY UP!

Democrats Blogging 101 - From GOP Bloggers

    Monday, April 24th, 2006

     pelosi.jpg

National Journal’s Beltway Blogroll recaps Pelosi’s embarrassing moment in the blogosphere last week
The page was yanked after Rep. Jack Kingson featured it (noting its reliance on Republican members as exemplary Congressional bloggers).

The Raw Story has details of the resulting back and forth between Pelosi and Kingston.

Pelosi’s office says Kingston could “learn a few things” from Democratic blogs.
“Now that Rep. Kingston is spending so much time on our web site, perhaps he’ll learn a thing or two from the Democrats about our real plans to make health care more affordable, decrease gas prices, and protect our homeland. Clearly, he won’t get that by reading the Republican blogs,” Pelosi spokesman Brendan Daly said.

Kingston spokesman David All replied, “It’s strange that the Minority Leader’s press shop would attack Republicans with angry, snarky rhetoric in a story about how their own ‘blog tips’ highlight the leadership of Republican blogs. Some folks just don’t get it.”

Cyber war over UCSC protest heats up

    Monday, April 24th, 2006

    mm.jpg

    By ROGER SIDEMAN
    SENTINEL STAFF WRITER
In the easy and anonymous world of cyberspace communication, angry partisans on both sides of the anti-war movement can volley threatening barbs at the click of a button. UC Santa Cruz students and conservative pundits alike have seen such messages filing up their in-boxes in the wake of last week’s campus protest.

After nationally syndicated columnist and blogger Michelle Malkin posted the e-mail addresses and phone numbers of three members of Students Against War, they received a flood of obscene and harassing messages from around the country, including death threats. When a liberal Web site, in retaliation, published Malkin’s cell phone number and home address, a full-blown blog war ensued.

”I am now forced to remove one of my children from school and move my family,” Malkin wrote Thursday in an e-mail to the Sentinel.

She was not forced to post the names of those students.

There are just too many crazy ass people out there who will stop at nothing to forward their wacked, fanatic ideals.

When she posted the names she went into new territory and she should have known that some retaliation was in order. Now her family is apparently suffering because of it.

Although I love blogging and sharing my thought and opinions in my little world, I don’t take this shit seriously enough to sacrifice my friends and family.

No number will ever be posted, no personal information.

It unnecessary to attack someone personally or put them or their family in harms way to promote MY values.

    Arnold just shut up!

     terminator.jpg

April 23, 2006 — Gov. Arnold Schwarzenegger, R-Calif., celebrated Earth Day by issuing a global warming warning, extolling the virtues of fuel-efficient vehicles and blasting “outrageous” oil prices at the pumps in an exclusive interview on “This Week with George Stephanopoulos.”

“The science is in,” the actor-turned-politician claimed. “The facts are there that we have created, man has, a self-inflicted wound that man has created through global warming.”

    RED MORE TERMINATOR CRAP HERE

I’m no scientist but there is one thing I am sure of. The notion that man can be responsible for any significant impact of the earth’s ecological system is simple lunacy. There is no significant scientific proof of this despite what idiots like Arnold and Gore say. Besides people advocating this crap are the same ones driving around in rusty old beat up cars with the muffler falling off with “save the environment” bumper stickers on them. Damm lunatics! The idea that man-made pollution is responsible for global warming is not supported by historical fact. The period known as the Holocene Maximum is a good example– so-named because it was the hottest period in human history. The interesting thing is this period occurred approximately 7500 to 4000 years B.P. (before present)– long before human’s invented industrial pollution.

    THIS DUDE NAILS IT…

“Scientists who want to attract attention to themselves, who want to attract great funding to themselves, have to (find a) way to scare the public . . . and this you can achieve only by making things bigger and more dangerous than they really are.”

Right Wing Blogs Running Out of Ammo? No Kidding, Really? Seriously?

”Whenever I go to the Daou Report I usually skip the stuff on the right, because it’s so, you know, predictable. However lately I have been sneaking some looks, just to see what what an army in retreat looks like.”

“While the Pro-Business Anti-Immigration wing of the Republican party, meets up with the purists, sparks will fly. Eventually some sort of compromise which looks a lot like the convoluted system already in place will be passed into law, creating a whole new bureaucracy to accomplish the status quo. If they can spin the thing they can make accomplishing the status quo looks like legistlative action. It did in Iraq, for a while any way. If you think about how little they really meant to change, and how much they screwed things up you have to be amazed.”
